Transplanting a human brain into robot bodies?
It doesn't just sound like science fiction; it sounds like bad science fiction. But that’s what ambitious Russian Dmitry Itskov claims to be working towards. Granted, this isn’t a technology that is currently available but Itskov plans to have it running in the next 10 years  well before all those billionaire baby boomers punch their final ticket. He says his technology will be of interest at first to the 'disabled and close to dying'.

The Russian entrepreneur heads a hi-tech research project called 'Avatar' and has contacted billionaires to offer them immortality. Itskov claims he will personally oversee their immortality process, in exchange for an undisclosed fee. Itskov, a media entrepreneur, seems to have hired 30 scientists to reach this goal - and aims to transplant a human brain into a robot body within 10 years.

'You have the ability to finance the extension of your own life up to immortality. Our civilization has come very near to the creation of such technologies it's not a science fiction fantasy. It is in your power to make sure that this goal will be achieved in your lifetime, says Itskov in a letter delivered to billionaires listed in Forbes magazine.

'This project is leading down the road to immortality,' says Itskov. 'A person with a perfect Avatar will be able to remain part of society. People don’t want to die.' He hopes to then 'upload' minds without surgery, leaving human bodies as empty husks as their owners 'live on' inside robots.

'The next effort of science will be to create a new body for the human being,' says Itskov, speaking at the Global Future 2045 conference. 'It will have a perfect brain-machine interface to allow control and a human brain life support system so the brain can survive outside the body.'

'The third phase will be to create an artificial human brain,' he says - a computer environment into which human minds can be uploaded. His final goal, he says, is to upload human minds into holographic bodies. Holograms give plenty of advantages. You can walk through walls, move at the speed of light, he says.

Itskov says he wants to work with DARPA  the Defense Advance Research Projects Agency in the U.S military. DARPA is already  researching ways for its troops to use their minds to remotely control androids who will take human soldiers' place on the battlefield. The Pentagon's hi-tech research arm, has earmarked $7million for research into the project, also nicknamed Avatar.

Swiss company known for their innovative and out of the box designs has created a car that goes from land to sea in seconds. An all-electric car with one motor for land and two to propel it underwater, this beauty will put the sea in your grasp while riding in style. A salt-resistant interior, on-board breathing apparatus which acts much like scuba gear, open cockpit for safety and viewing pleasure, as well as a laser sensor system for driverless motoring, Rinspeed seems to have thought of it all! Take the SQuba for a spin and then a dip.
If you are as surprised as I was that this really exists and works underwater check out the gallery below you won't believe your Eyes.

You will of course notice one significant difference between the sQuba and Bond's fake Lotus Espirit - the sQuba has no roof. Don't therefore expect to be taking it underwater in your best tuxedo, you'll need your underwater gear but thankfully, the car does provide an integrated tank of compressed air, as used by scuba divers.

Rinderknecht states: "For safety reasons we have built the vehicle as an open car so that the occupants can get out quickly in an emergency.With an enclosed cabin opening the door might be impossible" .

Yeah I know, doesn't exactly fill you with confidence about driving underwater. Still, I love it. It's like a childhood toy car only, real! It isn't exactly practical, you'd have to drive around town in your scuba gear before going for a "dive" .

Either that or you'd have to drive to the coast and then get changed . Nonetheless, it's just so cool .

World's Smallest Stallion - Einstein

Einstein is the worlds smallest stallion. He is about to become three years but stands just 20 inches tall. Huge media thronged to have a glimpse of him when he was born in April 2010 at a farm in Barnstead, New Hampshire.

His mother, Finesse, stands a relatively tall 32 inches and his dad, Painted Feather, measures 30 inches. Einstein is incredible as he shows no signs of dwarfness but he simply is a small miniature horse. The record of being the smallest horse in the world, according to Guinness World Records, is held by Tamberlina (Thumbelina) of the U.S. state of Missouri. He has to wait until he is four years to be officially recognized. 

Einstein is becoming quite a celebrity with appearances on Oprah and across the U.S. Even if the human interest is high, he didn't have many friends of his own breed. Einstein spends time with his giant friend, a full sized stallion, Playboy, and his owner's dog, Lilly.

Playboy is owned by a lady who lives next to the farm where Einstein lives, and he meets him to have a head sniff and a simple hello. Einstein is not aware about his height at all and he plays with Lilly and Playboy like a fully grown stallion. But due to his small size he can't mingle with other horses because it maybe dangerous for him.

Einstein's owner Charlie said he loves children and of course children love him too. Einstein is cute and too small and has unusual life. He may not be able to compete in the Kentucky Derby, but he is surely as popular as the winner.

Here are some natural benefits against common ailments when honey and cinnamon team up:

HEART DISEASES: Make a paste of honey and cinnamon powder, put it on toast instead of jelly and jam and eat it regularly for breakfast. It reduces the cholesterol and could potentially save one from heart attack. Also, even if you have already had an attack, studies show you could be kept miles away from the next attack. Regular use of cinnamon and honey strengthens the heart beat. It has been found that as one ages the arteries and veins lose their flexibility and get clogged; honey and cinnamon revitalize the arteries and the veins.

ARTHRITIS: Arthritis patients can benefit by taking one cup of hot water with two tablespoons of honey and one small teaspoon of cinnamon powder. When taken daily even chronic arthritis can be cured. PIMPLES: Make a paste of three tablespoons of honey and one teaspoon of cinnamon powder. Apply this paste on the pimples before sleeping and wash it off the next morning with warm water. When done daily for a few weeks, it removes all pimples from the root.

SKIN INFECTIONS: Applying honey and cinnamon powder in equal parts on the affected parts cures eczema, ringworm and all types of skin Infections.
